KARACHI: Two ships arrived at the Port on Friday, two ships carrying containers arrived at QICT and Sun Flower Seed at FAP, a port statement said Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 42 percent at the Port on Friday where a total of five ships namely M.V Elicia, M.V Dubai Express, M.V S N Queen, M.T Bold World, M.T Al- Salam II, are currently occupying berths to load/offload palm oil, cement, sun flower seed, containers diesel oil for the last 24 hours.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 24904 tonnes, comprising 18921 tonnes imports and 5983 tonnes exports 626, (Tues) was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.
M.T Al Salam II sailed on Friday afternoon and M.T Bold World sailed on Saturday morning.
M.V Mercy Wisdom at FAP and M.T Dong Airis were expected to take berth on Saturday.
