KARACHI: The Karachi police in their drive against criminals, arrested 24 accused from various areas of the city during the past 24 hours.
A statement on Saturday said that those arrested included absconders and proclaimed offenders.
It said that two gangs of criminals were also smashed by the police whereas three encounters with criminals and dacoits also took place.
As many as 18 pistols, a Kalashnikov and three mobile phones were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
The police have registered cases against the accused and started investigation.
