ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior A. Rehman Malik said on Saturday that the name of Farooq Bhoja, the owner of Bhoja Airline, whose plane crashed on Friday minutes before landing at Islamabad airport, had been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).
Talking to media at Pakistan Institute of Medical Scinces, where the bodies of ill-fated plane were shifted for identification, the minister said the name of head of Bhoja Airline, had been put on the Exit Control List.
He said a probe committee had been formed to investigate the causes of the crash. "The causes will be investigated, whether it was any fault in the aircraft, bad weather, lightning or any other factor that caused loss of precious lives," he added.
The plane's flight data recording system, key to any investigation, have been recovered. Malik said till the thorough investigation, it would be premature to state anything.
