ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Masood Khan, has said that China is time tested, sincere and best friend of Pakistan and it always supported the country in difficult times.
While talking to the state television, he said Pakistan and China have been doing joint venture in many projects in different fields.
He said that China is a strategic partner and both the countries have strong relations in every field of life.
Masood said that China at every forum always supported and encouraged the country to enhance the investment.
He said Pakistan and China are against terrorism and both the countries had taken many initiatives to eliminate this menace.
China always acknowledged the sacrifices of Pakistan against the war on terror, he added.
Replying to a question, the Ambassador said China had tried its best to convince the international community at every forum for acknowledging Pakistan's sacrifices against the war on terror.
The cooperation in civil nuclear programmes between China and Pakistan is very strong and internationally recognized, he said.
Replying to another question, he said the Parliament's initiative to formulate independent foreign policy is very appriciatable.
The Ambassador said that China had important role in South Asia and it was accepted by the international powers.
He said that China was a sincere friend of Pakistan and supported it in every hour of need. He said that China had played a commendable role in economic development of Pakistan and a number of projects had been completed with its cooperation.
The Ambassador said that people of Pakistan and China had extended full cooperation and displayed their friendship with each other in case of flood, earthquake or any other calamity.
