Oxford to launch book on Pakistani cuisine

KARACHI: The Oxford University Press (OUP), Pakistan, will launch its latest publication at a ceremony to be held at Frere hall here on April 20.

The book is titled: " Food Prints: An Epicurean Voyage through Pakistan: Overview of Pakistani Cuisine" has been written by Shanaz Ramzi.

The book celebrates the diversity of Pakistani cuisine and is a unique effort to bring to the reader the plethora of dishes popular in the country, tracing their origins and the legends surrounding some of them, says an OUP Pakistan statement here on Thursday.

It said that Managing Director of OUP Pakistan, Ameena Saiyid, will present the welcome address,

The author of the publication, Shanaz Ramzi, will also speak on the occasion.
