CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry, Oscar winner Sharmeen hit Time's 'most influential' list

NEW YORK: Two Pakistanis -- Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and Filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy -- are listed among the 100 most influential figures of the world in Time magazine polling.

The magazine, which released the list Wednesday, said it picked people "who inspire us, entertain us, challenge us and change our world."

This is the ninth year for the list and includes US President Barack Obama And Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, among other leaders, academics, artists and sportsmen.
