KARACHI: In another reshuffling of the cabinet, Qamar Zaman Kaira has been appointed Federal Minister for Information once again replacing Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, the media reported on Wednesday.
Kaira held the portfolio prior to Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan as federal minister for information, while Raja Pervez Ashraf has been rasied as Minister for Information Technology.
Meanwhile, Ashiq Awan has been raised as Minister for National Regulation and Services.
According to details, former Federal Law Minister Maula Bux Chandio has been made Minister for Political Affairs.
Nazar Muhammed Gondal has been given the portfolio in the federal cabinet as Minister for Capital Administration and Development, while Rana Muhammad Farooq has been made Federal Minister for Climate Changes.
In the meantime, portfolios of state ministers have also been announced.
Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi has been made State Minister for Water and Power, while Samsam Bukhari will function as State Information Minister.
Morover, Sardar Muhammed Moazzam will work as State Minister for National Food Security, Daust Muhammed Mazari, as State Minister for Telecommunication and Sardar Saleem Hyder will take up Defence Affairs as State Minister, whereas Abbas Khan Afridi will oversee Commerce Ministry as State Minister.
