LAHOREL: The Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 11.82 point as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3640.11 and closed at 3651.93 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 8.489 million shares to close against previous turnover of 10.165 million shares, showing a downward slide of 3.675 million shares. While, out of the total 85 active scrips 21 moved up, 29 remained equal and 35 shed values.
Engro Corporation Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Lucky Cement Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.36, Rs. 3.60 and Rs 2.76 respectively.
MCB Bank Limited, Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited, and Pakistan Oil Fields Limited lost their per share value by Rs 8.80, Rs 2.67 and Rs 2.50 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 1.676 million shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 1.651 million shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 791,295 shares.
