KMC begins fumigation drive with Saylani's help

Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) in collaboration with Saylani Welfare Trust International on Wednesday initiated anti-dengue fumigation drive in the city.

Earlier, President of Saylani Welfare Trust Yousuf Lakhani along with Arif Lakhani and UC Chairman of Nanakwara called on the Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar in his office and expressed willingness for cooperation in the KMC fumigation campaign.

Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar thanked him for this cooperation and said it was primary a responsibility of municipalities, however, due to shortage of resources cooperation from NGOs was sought. Afterwards, the Deputy Mayor Karachi Syed Arshad Hasan formally inaugurated the spray work in district East.
