PSX close of day 16-Oct-2019

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 18,996.84 points with a positive change of 69.67 and volume of 85,929,900 shares. High and Low were 19,157.18 and 18,907.24 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 14 were up, 14 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 151,367,050 shares. Total companies traded were 387 of which 241 were positive, 121 were negative and 25 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 22,879,000 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 17,390,200 shares.
