Karachi to face partial water suspension on 16th

Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) on Monday informed that water supply to Karachi from its strategic Dhabeji Pumping Station would remain partially suspended for some 16 hours by October 16, due to scheduled maintenance work at the water station.

KW&SB officials said that supply of water from 13 out of 21 pumps would remain suspended, however, the board officials said they would make all out efforts to complete the work in time to resume water as citizens are already facing water shortages. In the meantime, they said KE teams would also conduct maintenance work on its grid station.
