KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 18,948.95 points with a negative change of -238.69 and volume of 92,554,500 shares. High and Low were 19,284.48 and 18,888.71 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 1 were up, 29 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 137,932,650 shares. Total companies traded were 371 of which 103 were positive, 244 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,798,000 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 17,672,500 shares.
