KARACHI: The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) is holding a full-scale Airport Emergency Exercise at Jinnah International Airport Karachi on April 14 at 10 a.m.
The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will actively participate in the exercise, a PIA official said here on Friday.
He stated that a Boeing-747 aircraft has been provided with cockpit and cabin crew.
Resources like Engineering, Passenger Handling Services (PHS), Technical Ground Support (TGS) have been deployed for the purpose.
PIA Emergency Response Centre (ERC) will remain active at its initial Level-I and ERP Volunteers and PIA Scouts will be playing their active role towards making this event a good learning opportunity, the PIA official added.
