Police arrest 32 accused from various areas of city

KARACHI: Karachi police in their drive against criminals, arrested 32 accused from various areas of the city during the past 24 hours.

A statement on Thursday said those arrested included absconders and proclaimed offenders.

It said that a gang of criminals was also smashed by the police. Four encounters also took place with the police during the said period.

As many as 11 pistols, a repeater and two mobile phones were also recovered from the possession of the accused.

The police have registered cases against the accused and started investigation.
