LONDON: European stocks climbed in opening trade on Thursday, extending the previous day's gains on easing concerns over the eurozone sovereign debt crisis.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index added 0.13 percent to 5,641.96 points,Frankfurt's DAX 30 rose 0.53 percent to 6,710.37 points and inParisthe CAC 40 advanced 0.25 percent to 3,245.77 points.
