Chinese ambassador calls on Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Ambassador Liu Jian on Wednesday called on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif and discussed with him issues of mutual interests.

According to PML-N central media office, the meeting took place at Punjab House and issues of bilateral interests and mutual cooperation were discussed.

During the meeting, Sharif said that China was Pakistan time-tested and all-weather friend and every Pakistani feel proud of the relationship. "Every single moment strengthens our ties and increases the mutual trust between the two neighboring countries," Nawaz told the Chinese envoy.  He further said that China had been with Pakistan in all odds and it stands through thick and thin, which every Pakistani does realize.
