KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 17,826.52 points with a positive change of 267.76 and volume of 128,650,000 shares. High and Low were 17,829.52 and 17,519.61 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 24 were up, 6 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 181,357,210 shares. Total companies traded were 367 of which 219 were positive, 132 were negative and 16 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 46,175,600 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 21,692,000 shares.
