Man caught carrying drugs at Karachi Airport

(Karachi) The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials arrested a man at Jinnah International Airport and seized contraband from his possession on Monday.

ANF spokesman said that the man, whose name could not be ascertained, had been detained and shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigations. The ANF did not disclose the exact amount of drugs seized from the possession of the accused. Further probe is under way.

Drug trafficking has become a major crime in Pakistan. Several people have been caught while smuggling drugs to different countries but despite strict laws, this business continues to thrive. Drug trafficking can only be eradicated through implementation of laws and punishing those responsible.
