RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 16,847.26 points with a negative change of -120.33 and volume of 80,901,900 shares. High and Low were 16,967.59 and 16,777.17 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 11 were up, 16 were down and 3 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 124,475,550 shares. Total companies traded were 359 of which 146 were positive, 186 were negative and 27 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,509,500 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 17,379,600 shares.
