GARHI KHUDA BUKSH: President Asif Ali Zardari while reiterating the commitment of reconciliation policy adopted by the PPP government called upon the opposition to join hands with the government to steer the country out of external and internal challenges.
"Today, I again urge the opposition, let us work together to steer the country out of internal and external challenges," said the President while addressing a mammoth public meeting held here on the occasion of 33rd death of anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He said there are some people who wanted to pitch the PPP against the Balochis, Punjabis or Urdu speaking Sindhis but he categorically said the PPP will not fight against any community.
The President said, "We don't want to fight with any community, adding the fight of PPP and nation will be against poverty and against the difficulties being faced by the country.
He said, "We will fight for the security and safety of the land, if there will be any threat to its sovereignty and integrity."
