FRANKFURT AM MAIN: German stocks plunged on Friday with the DAX index of leading shares showing a loss of more than three percent in afternoon trading.
At 1434 GMT, the index was down by 3.2 percent at 11,856.06 points, while the CAC 40 index in Paris was 3.6 percent lower at 5,359.47 points.
