KARACHI: Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Sindh Akhtar Hussain Gorchani alongwith Director General, Rangers (Sindh) on Saturday visited different areas of the metropolis to take stock of the law and order situation.
During the visit, the AIGP also held meetings with SSPs of all five districts and directed them to make sure extensive patrolling in the violence affected areas.
He also directed them to take action based on credible intelligence against criminals responsible for disturbing peace in the city.
He also directed them to depute efficient police officials for investigation of violence related cases so that the accused could not get benefit of weak points during trial of such cases.
