KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan has said that some elements are creating law and order situation by using the names of political parties in the metropolis.
Talking to a delegation of prominent citizens here on Saturday, the Home Minister said that he had ordered the police and Rangers to take action against the miscreants and other elements, involved directly or indirectly in violence and arrest them without any discrimination.
He said that the leaves of policemen had been cancelled and called on duty while Rangers had also been put into action to maintain law and order.
Manzoor Wassan said that all SSPs and SHOs had been directed to strengthen patrolling in their respective areas.
He assured them that each and every step would be taken to maintain peace and sought cooperation from all political parties including MQM and ANP and other stakeholders in this regard.
