Rulers urged to utilise resources for welfare of youth

LAHORE: PML-N leader, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, MNA, has said that Punjab is playing an important role for keeping united all units of federation.

While addressing a function, he urged the rulers to utilize resources for the welfare of youth instead of plundering the national exchequer.

He said that cases regarding scams of billion of rupees are under trial against federal rulers in Supreme Court. Had this amount been spent on provision of education and employment to the youth, the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal would have been materialised, he added.

He said that the Chief Minister Punjab realising the gravity of the situation promoted positive activities like essay writing and speech competition and launched distribution of laptops, Daanish Schools and Endowment Fund for youth and also evolved a comprehensive strategy for saving the future of Pakistan.

Hamza said that Shahbaz Sharif has set up a hospital costing one billion rupees for people of Balochistan and also sacrificed of the share of Punjab in NFC award besides helping flood hit people of Sindh and refuges of Malakand.
