ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Ch Nisar Ali Khan said on Friday that a number of the recommendations of Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) were in the interest of the country.
Addressing a press conference at Punjab House here, Ch Nisar, however, said that his party had objections over some of the recommendations.
He claimed that other opposition parties had also supported the stand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz regarding the PCNS recommendations.
He said that the resolution of the Parliament should have been implemented in letter and spirit. It was insult of the Parliament if its recommendations were not implemented, he added.
The Leader of Opposition also spoke against the presence of foreign intelligence operators in the country.
