KARACHI: Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar, Friday called on Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, at the C.M. House here.
He discussed law and order situation prevailing in the province particularly in Karachi and said that the rangers are performing their duties devotedly for strict maintenance of law and order.
He added that culprits and miscreants are being apprehended under law and with coordinated efforts of rangers, police and LEAs, with the result that a peaceful atmosphere was maintained promptly on Thursday.
Sindh Chief Minister stressed upon D.G. Rangers to have strict vigilance on the activities of criminals and miscreants indulged in disturbing the peace of Karachi, thus affecting the economic and social life of the country.
Sindh Chief Minister hoped that with prompt liaison, coordination and strict measures by all law enforcement agencies the objective of security to lives and properties of people and peaceful atmosphere could be achieved in a befitting manner.
He stressed that patrolling of LEAs be enhanced and strict watch be ensured in disturbed areas.
Various other issues came up for discussion during in the meeting.
