KARACHI: The Consul General of UAE, Suhail Bin Matar A. Ketbi, Friday called on Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, at the C.M. House here.
He was accompanied by Chairman of Maaza Pakistan Limited, Muhammad Abdullah Omran Al-Omran, Samar Adnan Sala, Waqar Hyder and Saleem Akhtar.
Chairman Maaza Group briefed the Sindh Chief Minister that they have undertaken a project and are producing mango juice and pulp, while they are having marketing of the same in Pakistan.
He further informed that they are also exporting the mango juice and pulp, to Sudan, Saudi Arabia, UAE and other countries.
He also requested the Sindh Chief Minister that they are seriously considering for maintaining mango trees for which atleast 200 acres of land is required.
Commercial Advisor to UAE Government, Muhammad Intessar, handed over a letter to Chief Minister thereby inviting the Sindh Chief Minister to participate alongwith a team of businessmen in the World Investment Exhibition to be held in Dubai from May 1 to 3, where Pakistan would be the co-host with United Arab Emirates, and 32 other countries will be participating in Exhibition.
Sindh Chief Minister assured him that Pakistan will participate with full force and will bring a delegation of businessmen to display strength in the fields of agro-products, livestock, wheat, fish, shrimps, poultry and also textiles and other products.
