CM Sindh for more efforts to promote education

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister has called for expediting efforts for the promotion of education in the province.

He was talking to Sindh Minister for Education, Pir Mazhar ul Haq, who called on him at the CM House here on Thursday. The Chief Minister stressed that it should be ensured that the Sindh Textbook Board makes available textbooks for the new academic year on time so that teaching process start according to the schedule.

He further emphasised that teachers be posted in schools where needed and the closed schools be made functional so that more and more youngsters could be enrolled.

Shah also pressed for holding extra-curricular activities in schools.
