RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 17,313.83 points with a positive change of 86.84 and volume of 92,035,000 shares. High and Low were 17,335.87 and 16,900.91 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 20 were up, 10 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 121,556,220 shares. Total companies traded were 316 of which 155 were positive, 129 were negative and 32 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 26,897,600 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 14,537,500 shares.
