Two UN employees shot dead in Mastung

MASTUNG/QUETTA: Two officials of a UN organization were shot dead while another sustained serious injuries when unknown armed men racked their vehicle with bullets at Mastung Town, early Thursday morning, officials said.

According to the police official, the armed men opened fire at the vehicle of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and fled from the scene.

As a result, two employees of the organization identified as Zahid and driver Habibullah died on the spot while another sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
