KARACHI: Home Minister Sindh Manzoor Hussain Wassan said that judicial inquiry into the loss of lives and burning of vehicles in incidents of violence that triggered in the metropolis following the killing of two Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers on Tuesday morning.
This was decided at a meeting, chaired by the Home Minister and attended among others by the Additional Chief Secretary (home) Sohail Akbar Shah and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Shah here on Wednesday.
The Home Minister also directed the IGP to depute experienced police officials for conducting investigation of PIB colony incident in which two MQM workers' were killed and ensure early arrest of the culprits involved in the case.
The home minister also expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and burning of vehicles by the miscreants.
He assured that the government will take action against the responsible without any discrimination after proper inquiry to ensure justice to the victims of such incidents.
