KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 18,069.88 points with a positive change of 100.88 and volume of 17,051,800 shares. High and Low were 18,144.15 and 17,973.31 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 15 were up, 15 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 39,486,850 shares. Total companies traded were 305 of which 114 were positive, 168 were negative and 23 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 5,511,500 shares. It was followed by Engineering with a total traded volume of 5,207,000 shares.
