SEOUL: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday held an informal meeting with US President Barack Obama on the occasion of a dinner arranged for the world leaders on the first day of the Second Nuclear Security Summit here.
Gilani and Obama went to the dinning hall informally exchanging views on the Pak-US relations.
The Prime Minister, who will meet the United States (US) President on Tuesday evening on the sidelines of the summit, briefly highlighted that the future foreign policy would be formulated by the Parliament, which was currently discussing it.
Gilani said Pakistan wanted to improve its relations with the US but those should be based on equality, mutual respect and benefit.
The Second Nuclear Security Summit has provided a platform to the participating leaders for informal and formal exchange of views.
