Man killed during protest against outages

LAHORE: A man was shot dead in Daroghawala during a protest against loadshedding on Monday.

People were protesting against power outages when some of them set ablaze a filling station. Guards at the station opened firing on the protesters, killing one of them on the spot.

The furious crowd burnt tyres and blocked the road while protesters with sticks were still roaming the area.

Police have not taken any action till the filing of this story.
