KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 18,772.83 points with a positive change of 444.80 and volume of 89,250,000 shares. High and Low were 18,822.28 and 18,317.98 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 29 were up, 1 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 130,429,940 shares. Total companies traded were 333 of which 239 were positive, 81 were negative and 13 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,175,650 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 19,129,100 shares.
