KARACHI: A multi-pronged strategy is being pursued for bringing about economic stability and help improve the standard of living of the commonman.
This was stated by the Governor of Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, on Saturday. He was talking to a representative delegation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) from the Chinese province of Yunnan.
The delegation led by its chairperson, Ms. Huangshah, called on Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, at the Governor House here. The Governor pointed out that apart from improving the infrastructure, every possible assistance is being extended to the local and foreign investors and traders.
The delegation informed Dr. Ishrat that a large scale trade fair would be organized in Yunnan in the month of June in which the Pakistani trades would be provided stalls free of cost.
The delegation extended an special invitation to the Governor of Sindh to attend the fair. The Governor thanked the delegation and also expressed the hope that the Pakistani traders would fully benefit from such an opportunity and that the government would extend every assistance in this regard.
He said that this would provide an excellent opportunity to the Pakistani traders to exhibit their products. Prominent businessmen tariq Saeed and S.M. Munir were also present during the meeting.
