KARACHI: The newly appointed Director General of Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, Major General Rizwan Akhtar, called on Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan.
At the meeting held at Governor House here, Dr Ishrat- ul- Ebad Khan, appreciated the efforts by the Rangers towards the maintenance of law and order in the province, says a statement on Wednesday.
The Governor said that apart from the maintenance of law and order, the Rangers were also playing a role in the realms of education and other fields.
He also felicitated Major General Rizwan Akhtar, on his appointment as Director General of Rangers Sindh and assured him of his every cooperation.
On the occasion, Major General Rizwan Akhtar, thanked the Governor Sindh.
He said that he would discharge his responsibilities with the best of his abilities.
