ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani have strongly condemned the bomb blast in Peshawar on Tuesday, in which two police officials’ embraced martyrdom and two others sustained injuries.
The President and the Prime Minister in their separate messages condemned the targeted bomb blast on the police mobile van and expressed their grief over the loss of precious lives.
The President said such cowardly acts of terrorism cannot dent the resolve of the government as well as the law enforcing personnel to rid the country of this scourge.
The Prime Minister also reiterated the government's unwavering commitment to fight the menace of terrorism to the end.
He also directed the authorities concerned to ensure the provision of best medical facilities to the injured.
