Sugar price increased at USC

ISLAMABAD: The Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has increased the sugar price by Rs. 6 per kilogram.

Sugar would now be sold at price of Rs. 48 per kg at all USC outlets across the country.

The sources in USC, when contacted attributed the increase in price to its increased price in the open market.

Consumers, however expressed their disappointment over the increase and urged Minister of Industries Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to take notice of the increase.
