Anti-polio campaign to start on Monday
BAHAWALPUR: The four-day anti-polio campaign will start on Monday in the district.
The campaign was inaugurated by Provincial Minister for Prisons Malik Iqbal Channar at Bahawal Victoria hospital here.
Talking to APP, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Dr Naeem Rauf that some 504,294 children of less than five years age will be administered in the campaign.
He said that some 1201 teams have been deployed at transit points including bus stands, railway stations, airports and door-to-door teams also formed for vaccination.
He asked the parents to cooperate with anti-polio teams to eradicate the menace of disease from the district.
