KHAN PUR: Punjab government has released Rs142 million to improve sewerage system of the city.
This was disclosed by Member Punjab Assembly Ch. Ejaz Shafi while inaugurating the first phase of the project at Gharib Abad here on Saturday. He said, first phase would be completed at the cost of Rs 142 million in Gharib Abad area.
He added that Rs100 million would be spent in second phase of this project.
He said, in second phase, the sewerage system of the remaining parts of the city would be improved besides installing street lights in Kachi Abadies and providing basic civic facilities in other parts of the city.
