KARACHI: Captain of Pakistan Cricket Team Sarfraz Ahmed Wednesday called on Sindh Governor Imran Ismail here at the Governor House.
He thanked the Government of Pakistan and the Governor for inviting him, said an official statement.
The Governor expressed his high hopes that Pakistan Cricket, which was scheduled to play the World Cup next month, would perform the best.
" The nation shall expect, every player will do his best in the World Cup," he said at a conference there along with the Pakistan's Captain.
He said with the best performance of the team, Pakistan would earn fame in the cricket world once again. And, the World Cup would come to Pakistan as our players had capacity to win.
He acknowledged the leadership qualities of Sarfraz Ahmed and asserted that the World Cup would be a test for him.
To a question, the Governor said Karachi Package included many development schemes, the work on majority of these would start next month.
About another question, he said he would try to get 25 buses from the lot imported by Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa government for Green Line Service as the infrastructure was ready.
" To get 25 buses, I shall talk to Federal and KPK governments so that Green Line Service can be started soon," he re-affirmed adding that when the buses would be imported for the Green Line project of Karachi, we would give same number of buses to KPK government.
