ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said the leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) were responsible for the current economic crisis and price hike in the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the current situation emerged in the country in the shape of inflation and price hike was due to the weak policies of the previous governments of PML-N and PPP.
It was difficult to nab people involved in white color crime, he said, adding those plundered the national exchequer would go behind the bar.
"I don’t see the future of Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif in the country in days to come. They are involved in corruption cases and will go to jail soon," the minister stated.
To another question, he said the leaders of PML-N had always wanted to see their cases in Punjab so that they could protect themselves from the corruption cases. While, the leaders of PPP had been trying to keep their cases in Karachi so that they could also use delaying tactics in the cases, Sheikh Rashid added.
All these elements could not lessen the popularity of Imran Khan among masses, he said.
