LAHORE: National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri here on Sunday vistied Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) and met its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Faisal Sultan on the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to land acquirement for Shaukat Khanum Hospital Quetta came under discussion.
Qasim Suri said, "Shaukat Khanum hospital in Quetta will be a great facility for the people of the area as people of Quetta have to visit Lahore or Karachi for the treatment which he termed as a big difficulty for them."
He said, it has been decided in the meeting that CEO Dr Faisal Sultan along with his team would visit Quetta in next two to three weeks to see the feasible land for the hospital. He will be present on the ocassion, he added.
