BRT delayed due to change in design: Pervez Khattak

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defense Pervez Khattak said on Wednesday that delay in completion of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar project was due to changes in the project's design.

Talking to a private news channel, the former chief minister of KP said the responsible elements for the delay would be taken to task.

He said the role of the provincial government in BRT was only to monitor the project.

The minister said the stipulated time for BRT completion was only six months but  different factors caused delay in the project.

BRT was a mega welfare project for the people of the area and millions would be benefited through it, he added..
