KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab has termed the formation of Karachi Transformation Committee (KTC) as unconstitutional step.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday Murtaza Wahab said as per constitution all the executives matters of the province would be look after by the provincial government alone.

According to the constitution the Chief Executive of the province was the Chief Minister and not the Governor, he said adding Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was not invited in the meetings regarding KTC.

The Adviser further said that only the people of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation attended the event at Bagh-i-Ibn-i-Qasim.

He claimed that the Sindh government not only announced the Karachi package but also implemented it in letter and spirit.

Renovation f Cant Station and roads around its surroundings, revamping of Shahr-e-Faisal, construction of underpasses and overhead bridges on it, revamping of University road and Tariq road were few of the examples of the development work carried out under Karachi package by the Sindh government, he added.
