RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 20,864.41 points with a positive change of 200.00 and volume of 69,789,600 shares. High and Low were 20,978.14 and 20,585 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 12 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 137,733,830 shares. Total companies traded were 328 of which 177 were positive, 129 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Food and Personal Care Products was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,100,740 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 19,971,700 shares.
