ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Thursday released 98,200 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 80,300 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1,393.00 feet, which was 7.00 feet higher than its dead level of 1,386 feet.
Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 20,000 cusecs each respectively.
The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,111.60 feet, which was 71.60 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 32,100 cusecs and 50,000 cusecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 40,100 cusecs, 27,100 cusecs and 5,000 cusecs respectively.
Similarly from the Kabul River, 12,400 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 6,800 cusecs from the Chenab River at Marala.
The total water storage capacity stood at 0.611 million acre feet.
