Malir Police envisages foolproof security plan for anti-polio drive

 KARACHI: The Malir police has devised a foolproof security plan for protection of 1830 polio teams assigned to perform duties in connection with the anti-polio campaign, said the spokes person to the SSP Malir Shazia Jahan on Monday.

A central control room is set up at the office of district Malir Police to monitor the situation during the anti-polio drive.

The Station House Officers (SHOs) of 17 police stations in Malir are directed to coordinate with the teams of anti-polio campaign which are constituted at the union councils level.

As many as eight DSPs, 17 SHOs, 54 women police personnel, 54 patrolling mobiles and 59 teams of motorcycle riding policemen are assigned for security duties.
