All political parties united on NAP implementation

ISLAMABAD: Spokesman to Prime Minister Nadeem Afzal Chan Friday said all political parties were united for fully implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) to counter terrorism.

The implementation of NAP was a national issue and all political parties had developed consensus over it to curtail terrorism activities from the country, he said talking to a private news channel.

The spokesman said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to implement NAP and alleged that the previous Pakistan Muslim Legaue - Nawaz government had not implemented NAP despite of having support of the opposition.

He said NAP was not an issue of only one political party that was why all parties were supporting the government in that regard.

He said the actions would be taken against banned organizations through NAP.
